Renewal of Cautionary Announcement
Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcement released by the company on
SENS on 22 January 2015 and the subsequent renewal of cautionary announcements
released on 5 March 2015 and 16 April 2015 respectively and are advised that the company
is at an advanced stage of negotiations regarding the potential disposal of Altech Autopage’s
GSM subscriber bases.
Altron’s decision to dispose of these subscriber bases has been based on, among others, the
impacts of the on-going Mobile Termination Rate reductions, as well as continued industry
and consumer deflationary pressures. Accordingly this business has been classified as a
discontinued operation for purposes of the company’s 2015 annual financial statements.
Should these negotiations be successfully concluded, this may have a material effect on the
company’s securities and consequently shareholders are advised to continue exercising
caution when dealing in Altron’s securities until a further announcement is made regarding
the salient terms of this transaction.
