BOARD COMMITTEE CHANGES Following a review of the memberships of its Board committees and the re-election of all Directors at the Annual General Meeting on 29 April 2015, British American Tobacco today announces that Kieran Poynter, a Non-Executive Director of the Company since 2010, will assume the role of Remuneration Committee Chairman and will step down as Audit Committee Chairman. He will remain a member of the Audit Committee. Dr Gerry Murphy, who has been a Non-Executive Director since 2009 and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee since 2011, will step down as Chairman and as a member of the Remuneration Committee and he will become a member of the Audit Committee. Christine Morin-Postel, who has been a Non-Executive Director of the Company since 2007, the Senior Independent Director since 2013 and a member of the Audit Committee since 2014, will become Chairman of the Audit Committee.
