Appointment of independent non-executive director
In compliance with 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements,
Alexander Forbes is pleased to announce that Mr Moses Kgosana,
previously Chief Executive and Senior Partner of KPMG Southern
Africa and Chairman of KPMG Africa, has been appointed as an
independent non-executive director of the Company with effect from
21 April 2015.
Mr Kgosana was also previously a member of the KPMG Global Board
and Council and the KPMG Europe Middle East Africa (EMA) Board.
Other previous board memberships included Chairing the Accounting
Practices Board, a member of the board of the South African
Institute of Chartered Accountants and a member of the Standards
Advisory Council of the International Accounting Standards Board.
He has also served as President of the Association for the
Advancement of Black Accountants of Southern Africa.
He has experience in internal and external audit, financial
management and administration, as well as business and management
consultancy. He has extensive industry credentials based on
experience in various industries, including financial
institutions, industrial, telecommunications, mining, technology
and consumer markets.
