Publication of the audited financial results for the year ended 30 September 2014 for African Bank Limited

1. In a Stock Exchange News Service (“SENS”) announcement issued on 3 March 2015
   ("Further update on the Curatorship of African Bank and proposed restructuring measures,
   further cautionary announcement and continued suspension of all debt securities of the
   African Bank and all equity securities of ABIL and other related matters") the Curator of African
   Bank stated that African Bank expected to provide the annual financial results and audited
   financial statements for the financial year ended 30 September 2014 during April 2015.

2. While matters delaying the finalisation of the results have substantially been addressed since
   that date, certain aspects relating to a limited number of outstanding points require further
   attention from the relevant stakeholders.

3. The Curator therefore does not expect to release the results during April 2015, but now
   expects to release these results during May 2015.

4. As previously stated in the SENS referred to above the Curator expects to be able to release
   the reviewed results for African Bank for the six months ended 31 March 2015 during June
   2015.

5. This announcement relates solely to the publication of the results for African Bank Limited and
   not to the publication of the results of African Bank Investments Limited.
