Mr Seedat has been a member of the Safety, Health and Environmental Committee, Remuneration and Nominations Committee and is the Chairman of the Social, Ethics and Transformation Committee. The Board of Aveng congratulates Mr Seedat on his appointment and looks forward to his stewardship. Mr Seedat has worked for three major mining companies during his 32 year career, during which time he occupied a range of operational, general management, executive and non-executive director board roles. Changes to the Audit Committee Mr Peter Ward retires as Chairman of the Audit Committee with effect from 30 June 2015, and Mr Eric Diack will be appointed as Chairman of the Audit Committee with effect from 1 July 2015. Mr Ward will remain as a member of the Audit Committee. Mr Diack is a Chartered Accountant and has over 33 years extensive industrial experience having served on numerous major listed company boards.
