Accordingly, the Company advises that, in respect of the six months ended 31 December 2014, it is expecting to announce earnings of 82 cents per share (2013: 375 cents per share), being a decrease of 78,1% from the previous corresponding period and is expecting to announce headline earnings of 67 cents per share (2013: 196 cents per share), being a decrease of 65,8% from the previous corresponding period. The results for the six months ended 31 December 2013 included sizeable profits on disposals and a large gain arising from a reduced post-retirement medical aid liability, which do not re-occur in the results for the six months ended 31 December 2014. The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by the Company’s auditors.
