DISCLOSURE OF ACQUISITION OF SECURITIES

In accordance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008 (“the Act”)
and section 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are hereby
advised that Pinnacle has received formal notification in the prescribed form that the
collective clients of Invesco Canada Limited (“Invesco”), held through the custodian RBC
Investor Services Trust, have acquired an interest in the securities of the Company, such that
the total interest in the securities of the Company held has, as at 18 March 2015, increased
from 14.44 %, at 27 February 2015, to 15.25 % of the total issued share capital of the
Company.

Invesco is a privately owned investment manager based in Toronto, Canada. The firm
primarily provides its services to Canadian mutual funds and investment companies.

As required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Act, the Company has filed the required
notice with the Takeover Regulation Panel.
