DEALING IN SECURITIES BY DIRECTORS

Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 5
January 2015 relating to the distribution of MMI ordinary shares to
certain MMI directors following the maturity of the staff and
director components of FirstRand Limited’s 2005 Black Economic
Empowerment transaction. The directors receiving shares as a result
of these distributions were restricted from any trades until two
days after FirstRand announced its interim results on 10 March 2015.

Following the expiry of the restriction on trades, certain directors
have disposed of a portion of their MMI distributions, principally
in order to settle tax and other costs.
