TRADING STATEMENT

In terms of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Limited, a listed company
is required to publish a trading statement as soon as it becomes aware
that the financial results for the financial period to be reported on next
will vary by 20% or more from those of the previous comparable period.

Accordingly, Capitec hereby advises that a reasonable degree of certainty
exists that headline earnings per share and earnings per share for the
year ended 28 February 2015 will be between 2155 cents to 2225 cents per
share compared to 1752 cents per share reported in the prior year. This
represents an increase of between 23% and 27%.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not
been reviewed and reported on by Capitec’s auditors. The financial results
for the financial year ended on 28 February 2015 are expected to be
published on or about 24 March 2015.
