TRADING STATEMENT

In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
companies are required to provide guidance to the market when
they are satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty
exists that the financial results for the forthcoming
reporting period will differ by at least 20% from the results
of the previous corresponding reporting period.

Accordingly, shareholders are advised that Life Healthcare’s
earnings per share for the six months ending 31 March 2015 are
expected to show a decrease of between 65 and 100 cents per
share or between 37.2% and 57.2% from that reported for the
six months ended 31 March 2014 (174.8 cents per share). This
expected decrease is largely due to Life Healthcare’s
disinvestment of its 49.3% shareholding in Joint Medical
Holdings Limited in the prior year.

The forecast financial information on which this trading
statement is based has not been reviewed and reported on by
the Company’s external auditors.
