1.   On 13 May 2013, the Issuer established the Goldman Sachs
     International Guaranteed Senior Secured Inward Listed South
     African Notes Programme (the Programme) in terms of which
     the Issuer may from time to time issue debt securities on
     the Interest Rate Market of the JSE Limited (the JSE) as
     described in the JSE Placement Document, which was amended
     and     restated   on   31   January   2014   (the   JSE   Placement
     Document), read with the relevant final terms from time to
     time.
2.   On 24 February 2014 the Issuer issued ZAR620,000,000 Senior
     Secured Notes (GSIS02) (the GSIS02 Notes) due 24 February
     2015 (the Maturity Date) pursuant to the terms and
     conditions contained in the Final Terms dated 24 February
     2014 (the Final Terms) read together with the JSE Placement
     Document. The GSIS02 Notes are redeemable at the option of
     the Issuer at any date within the period of 35 days
     preceding the Maturity Date.

3.   This notice is delivered by the Issuer to each holder of
     GSIS02 Notes (the Noteholders) issued under the JSE
     Placement Document in accordance with Condition 9 (Notices)
     of the section headed “South African Note Conditions” in
     the JSE Placement Document for purposes of notifying
     Noteholders of the Issuer exercising its option for early
     redemption of the GSIS02 Notes on 20 January 2015 at the
    face value thereof, together     with    any   interest   accrued
    thereon up until that date.
