Shareholders are advised that the Company’s Annual Financial Statements which are contained in the
Company’s       2014    Integrated    Annual      Report     (“IAR”)    for   the    year   ended
30 September 2014, are available on the Company’s website on www.spar.co.za and are unchanged
from the audited summarised consolidated results which were published on SENS on 12 November 2014.

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Company will be held in the boardroom, 22
Chancery Lane, Pinetown, Durban, South Africa on Friday, 13 February 2015 at 09:00, to transact
business as stated in the notice which forms part of the IAR.
