TRADING STATEMENT


In terms of the JSE Listings Requirements, companies are required to publish a trading statement as
soon as they are satisfied with a reasonable degree of certainty that the financial results of the period to
be reported upon will differ by 20% or more from the financial results of the previous corresponding
period.

Shareholders are advised that ZCI is currently finalizing its interim results for the six month period
ending 30 September 2014. ZCI is expecting a loss per share of 0.42 US cents (2013: 55.90 US cents per
share) reflecting 99.2% decrease on the loss per share of the previous corresponding period, and a
headline loss per share of 0.44 US cents, (2013:15.98 US cents per share) reflecting a 97.2% decrease on
the loss per share of the previous corresponding period.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed by the
Company’s auditors. The Company’s interim financial results for the six months ended 30 September
2014 will be released by 31 December 2014.
