TRADING STATEMENT


In terms of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, companies are required to publish a trading statement
as soon as the directors become reasonably certain that the financial results for the period to be reported on
will differ by more than 20% from that of the previous corresponding period.

Accordingly, a review of the financial results for the year ended 31 December 2014 by the directors and
management has indicated that:

-   the basic loss per share is expected to be between 42.95 cents and 48.93 cents, reflecting an increase of
    between 43.7% and 63.7% for the year ended 31 December 2014 compared to the basic loss per share
    of 29.88 cents for the year ended 31 December 2013; and

-   the headline loss per share is expected to be between 42.78 cents and 49.09 cents, reflecting an
    increase of between 35.5% and 55.5% compared to the headline loss per share of 31.57 cents for the
    year ended 31 December 2013.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by
Goliath Gold’s auditors. Goliath Gold’s financial results for the year ended 31 December 2014 are expected
to be released on or about 30 March 2015.
