TIME OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (“AGM”) TO BE HELD ON 20 NOVEMBER 2014

Shareholders of SVF (“Shareholders”) are referred to the circular, draft prospectus and annexures
thereto sent to Shareholders on 29 October 2014. The circular, notice of the AGM and proxy form
state that the AGM will commence at 14h00 South African time on 20 November 2014.

Please note that due to daylight saving which has been implemented in Bermuda since
29 October 2014, the time in Bermuda relative to the time in South Africa has changed. This
means that a time of 09h00 in Bermuda is now 15h00 in South Africa, and no longer 14h00.

In the circumstances, Shareholders should please be advised that, in South Africa, the AGM will
commence at 15h00 on Thursday, 20 November 2014, and not 14h00 as previously advised. The
time of commencement of the AGM in Bermuda remains unchanged, namely 09h00 on Thursday,
20 November 2014. A communication has been sent to Shareholders confirming this change.

SVF has a primary listing on the BSX and a secondary listing on the Johannesburg Stock
Exchange’s Alternative Exchange.
