CHANGES TO IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS OF DIRECTORS

In accordance with paragraph 3.59(c) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, the board of directors of BSI hereby advise shareholders of the following
changes to the composition of the remuneration committee of the Company (“the
Remuneration Committee”), which changes will be effective immediately:


    -   Mr James Waller, Non-Executive Director of the Company has stepped down
        as a member of the Remuneration Committee; and
    -   Mr Nigel Payne currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of the
        Company, has been appointed as a member of the Remuneration Committee.
