FULL CAPITAL REDEMPTION

In accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Capitec Bank’s
R8,000,000,000.00 Domestic Medium Term Note Programme dated 25
April 2008, investors are herewith advised of the full capital
redemption of the CBL06 notes maturing 02 November 2014, payable
on 03 November 2014 (Following*).

*When the Payment Date in respect of the capital falls on a non-
business day one of the following Date Conventions will be applied,
as specified for each individual bond:

1. Following – This means that the capital will be paid on the first
business day after the weekend or public holiday.

2. Modified Following – This means that the capital will be paid on
the first business day after the weekend or public holiday. However,
if the first business day after the weekend or public holiday falls
in a new calendar month the last business day before the weekend /
public holiday will be used instead.

3. Preceding – This means that the capital will be paid on the last
business day before the weekend or public holiday.
