GCR DOWNGRADES REAL PEOPLE’S SENIOR SECURED NOTES

Real People announces that Global Credit Ratings(“GCR”) has,
on 17 October 2014, downgraded the short term rating of RPG03,
R50m Senior Secured Floating Rate Notes maturing on 23 March
2015, to A2(ZA)from A1(ZA).

The long term rating of RPG02, R225 Senior Secured Floating
Rate Notes maturing 25 November 2015, has been downgraded to
BBB+(ZA)from A-(ZA), with a stable outlook.

The downgrade of the above-mentioned notes follows a downgrade
of the Issuer’s ratings on 7 October 2014 to BB+(ZA)from BBB(ZA)
and to B(ZA) from A2(ZA) in the long- and short-terms
respectively,.
