DEALINGS IN SECURITIES BY ASSOCIATES OF DIRECTORS AND A DIRECTOR OF THE COMPANY PURSUANT TO THE ACQUISITION OF CROSSROADS


Shareholders are referred to the announcement on SENS on 30 September 2014 relating to the acquisition of Crossroads. As the
vendors of this asset are associates of directors and a director, and the purchase consideration is to be part settled in Equites
shares, this constitutes a dealing in securities by those associates and that director in terms of the JSE’s Listings Requirements.
The transaction was approved by the board of Equites on 8 August 2014 but as it is a small related party transaction, it was only
implemented and announced on 30 September 2014 following approval by the JSE of the required fairness opinion as referred to
in the earlier announcement. Accordingly, shareholders are advised of the following:
