Director Share Purchase


Coal of Africa Limited (the “Company”) advises that it was informed on 30 September 2014 that on
the same day, Mr Bernard Pryor, Non-executive Chairman of the Company, purchased 150,000
ordinary shares of no par value in the Company at an average price of 3.4 pence. Following this
acquisition Mr Pryor is the beneficial holder of 150,000 shares, representing 0.014% of the
Company’s issued share capital.
