The late release of this trading statement is due to the fact that the necessary agreements to re-capitalise the business were only concluded on 29 September 2014. These deals, now having been concluded, will be announced tomorrow morning, 30 September 2014. In this regard, shareholders are advised that the earnings loss per share ("EPS") and headline earnings loss per share ("HEPS")are both expected to decrease to between 76 cents and 80 cents from the restated EPS of 578,23 cents (28,91 cents previously reported) and restated HEPS of 497,60 cents (24,88 cents previously reported) from continuing operations the previous year and restated EPS of 416,38 cents (20,82 cents previously reported) and restated HEPS of 516,28 cents (25,82 cents previously reported) from consolidated operations the previous year. This is largely attributable to an increase in the weighted average number of ordinary shares for the year ended 30 June 2014. The previous year EPS and HEPS from both consolidated -and continuing operations are restated after adjusting for the impact of a share consolidation of the Company’s shares on a 1 for 20 basis on 15 July 2013.
