TRADING STATEMENT


In terms of paragraph 3.4(b)(i) of the Listings Requirements of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange,
listed companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably
certain that the financial results for the next period to be reported on will be more than 20%
different from those of the previous corresponding period or from a profit forecast previously
provided to the market in relation to such period.

Shareholders are advised that Advanced Health expects to report that earnings per share and
headline earnings per share for the year ended 30 June 2014 will be between 6 cents and 7 cents
(based on the weighted average number of shares 120 272 415) compared to earnings per share
and headline earnings per share of 9.83 cents per share (based on the weighted average number
of shares in issue of 90 467 000) for the year ended 30 June 2013. However, the earnings and
headline earnings will be in line with the profit forecast and basic earnings per share as detailed in
the prospectus issued by the company on 31 March 2014.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed and
reported on by the company’s auditors.

The Company’s audited results announcement for the year ended 30 June 2014 is expected to be
published on or about 29 September 2014.
