CAPITAL DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE APN SHARE INSTALMENT

Notice is hereby given of the capital distribution amount payable for ASPEN PHARMACARE HLDGS
and that as a result of the capital distribution declaration relating to ASPEN PHARMACARE HLDGS
(APN) the Trustees of the Share Instalment Trust have declared a capital distribution amount of 188
cents per APNNIH share instalment that is payable on Monday, 13 October 2014. The capital
distribution is payable out of contributed tax capital and is not subject to any local tax. The final
payment will be rounded to two decimal places.

The last day to trade cum-distribution is Friday, 03 October 2014. The Share Instalment will
commence trading ex-distribution from Monday, 06 October 2014. The record date will be Friday, 10
October 2014.
