Mark qualified as a CA (SA) with Deloitte and Touche, gaining experience both in South Africa and in New York. He also has experience in the fields of structured and bridging finance as well as sourcing and implementing business and property transactions. Mark will also join the audit and risk committee of Bonatla and will strengthen the financial and accounting ability of the company’s board which already includes two chartered accountants. Change in role of director Shareholders are advised of a change in role of Mr Robin Rainier from Acting Executive Chairman to non-executive Chairman with effect from 12 September 2014. Mr Reginald Bernstein has been appointed as the lead independent non-executive director in accordance with King III. The above changes are being made in order to regularise the compliance with the Companies Act, King III and the JSE Listings Requirements following the recent passing of Mr Brodie and earlier board changes. One further appointment of an independent non-executive director is still required and the company is making good progress in this regard.
