NOTICE OF BUSINESS RESCUE PROCEEDINGS IN VARIOUS SUBSIDIARIES
OF THE COMPANY

1.   Shareholders are referred to previous SENS announcements
     concerning the business rescue proceedings in the
     Company.

2.   On 13 August 2014, the boards of the following
     subsidiaries of the Company (“the Ububele Subsidiaries”)
     resolved to voluntarily begin business rescue proceedings
     in terms of section 129(1) of the Companies Act 71 of
     2008 (“the Act”):

     2.1. Yield Alfa Chemicals Proprietary Limited,
          registration number 1998/007955/07;

     2.2. Enviro Crop Protection Proprietary Limited,
          registration number 2007/027855/07;

     2.3. Yield Alfa Proprietary Limited, registration number
          1995/002951/07;

     2.4. R T Chemicals Proprietary Limited, registration
          number 2007/028253/07;

     2.5. Yield Avello Proprietary Limited, registration
          number 2003/000440/07;

     2.6. Ububele Agri Proprietary Limited, registration
          number 2002/025841/07;

     2.7. Yield Chemical Group Proprietary Limited,
          registration number 2001/012354/07;

     2.8. Yield WTP Proprietary Limited, registration number
          1999/007886/07; and
     2.9. Enviro Industries Proprietary Limited, registration
            number 1999/006136/07.

3.   On 13 August 2014, the board of each Ububele Subsidiary
     resolved to appoint Daniel Terblanche, Neil Miller and
     Cobus Kritzinger as the business rescue practitioners
     (“the BRPs”) of each Ububele Subsidiary in terms of
     section 129(3)(b) of the Act.

4.   In terms of Form CoR 126.2 dated 19 August 2014, the
     aforementioned persons were licensed by the CIPC to serve
     as the BRPs in relation to the business rescue
     proceedings in each of the Ububele Subsidiaries.

5.   Copies of all notices relating to the business rescue
     proceedings in the Ububele Subsidiaries will be published
     on the website of the Company, www.ububele.co.za.
