CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS


Shareholders are advised that Mr Bram Goossens (36) has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer and
executive director of the company with effect from 1 September 2014 and that Chrystal Grauso will resign
as Chief Financial Officer and executive director with effect from that date.

Bram joined PwC in 2002 and is currently responsible for servicing a number of corporate clients as an audit
partner. He completed his tertiary education at the University of Cape Town and qualified as a Chartered
Accountant in 2005. During more than 12 years with PwC he gained wide ranging experience with retail,
property and industrial clients, both in South Africa and internationally.

The Equites board of directors welcomes Bram and looks forward to his contribution to the company and
thanks Chrystal for her contribution during the process of listing of Equites on the JSE.
