NOTICE OF BUSINESS RESCUE RESOLUTION OF UBUBELE AND RENEWAL OF
CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Further to the cautionary announcement of 28 July 2014,
shareholders are advised that it has become clear to the board
of directors that consideration of the proposals for the
restructuring of the debt and equity resources of the Ububele
Group by some of the parties involved will take considerable
time, and thus that a formal business rescue process will
present a better platform to pursue these proposals. The
Ububele board is of the opinion that such a process will
provide the opportunity to implement a business rescue plan
that will be in the best interest of all its stakeholders.
The Board accordingly resolved on 6 August 2014 to commence
with voluntary business rescue proceedings as provided for by
Section 129 of the Companies Act, 2008 (Act 71 of 2008), as
amended.
Shareholders are advised that the business rescue process and
its outcome may have a material effect on the price of the
Company’s securities and accordingly are advised to continue
exercising caution in dealing with their securities until a
further announcement is made.
