TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the JSE Limited’s Listings Requirements, companies are required to
publish a trading statement as soon as they are reasonably certain that the financial results for the
current reporting period will differ by at least 20% when compared to the previous corresponding
period.
In light of the above, Mustek’s shareholders are informed that, for the year ended 30 June 2014,
Mustek’s headline earnings per share and basic earnings per share are expected to be at least 20%
higher than the headline earnings per share of 72,85 cents and the basic earnings per share of 78,43
cents reported in the previous corresponding period.
A further trading statement will be published once the company obtains reasonable certainty to
provide guidance on the range to describe the differences.
The above information has not been reviewed or reported on by the company’s auditors. The
company’s financial results for the year ended 30 June 2014 are expected to be published on or
about 27 August 2014.
