APPOINTMENT OF COMPANY SECRETARY

Following the announcement made on 27 January 2014 regarding the resignation of Mr James
Geoffrey Pyle, and in compliance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the Listings Requirements of the
JSE Limited, shareholders are hereby advised that Ms Kelebogile Gina has been appointed as
company secretary of Famous Brands with effect from 1st August 2014.
