The Board of AfroCentric Investment Corporation Limited (“the Board”) wishes to advise, in
compliance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, that Mr Garth Napier, who is
currently an Independent Non-Executive Director for AfroCentric has been appointed as the
Lead Independent Non-Executive Director for AfroCentric with effect from 2 July 2014

The Board wishes Garth well on his new appointment.
