Before Mr Nxumalo joined Gijima he was employed at T-Systems in August 2012, held the position of Vice President: Systems Integration for 9 months, before assuming responsibilities for Strategic Business Development (SBD) as Vice President for the last 12 months and executive committee member. Mr Nxumalo held several small executive directorships, including in UNISYS (2000 – 2003), National Research Foundation (2001 – 2006), Sybase SA (1998 – 2000), Face Technologies (2000 – 2001) and Ariel Technologies (2000 – 2001). Mr Nxumalo was also a member of SA Interim Secretariat Committee on Y2K appointed by President Mbeki.
