Johan qualified as medical doctor at Stellenbosch University, after which he worked for 3 years in England, Wales and New Zealand. Back in SA, he completed his diploma in anaesthetics and then changed his focus to ophthalmology. Whilst waiting for a post to specialize he ventured into the medical products and prosthesis markets. He was the co-founder of companies like SpesNet (which renders services to the majority of specialists in SA), MediCharge (proud provider of the dynamic web-based VeriClaim practice management system) and MedCeptional (a day hospital licensing and operational management company). He was also co-founder of HelpLift Network - an NGO linking the welfare needs of those in need with the resources and talents of givers. He is a well-known author and presenter on his fields of expertise - both nationally and internationally. 6 June 2014 By order of the board Johannesburg Designated Advisor Arcay Moela Sponsors Proprietary Limited Date: 06/06/2014 04:51:00 Produced by the JSE SENS Department.
