NOTIFICATION IN TERMS OF SECTION 122(3) OF THE COMPANIES AND
SECTION 3.83(b) OF THE JSE LISTINGS REQUIREMENTS
In accordance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, 71
of 2008 (‘The Act’), and section 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited
Listings Requirements, holders of ordinary shares in the
Company are advised that Investec Asset Management Holdings
(Pty) Limited, on behalf of segregated clients, has acquired a
beneficial interest in ordinary shares of the Company, such
that its total interest in securities of the Company held by
Investec Asset Management Holdings (Pty) Limited, on behalf of
segregated clients, now amounts to 5.8457%.
Illovo hereby confirms that it has received the required
notice from Investec Asset Management Holdings (Pty) Limited,
in terms of Section 122(1) of the Act and has in turn, filed
the required notice with the Takeover Regulation Panel, in
terms of Section 122(3) of the Act.
