Mr William Waller was appointed as head of industrial sales for ChemSpec in January 2013 and recently head of Africa development. He was previously head of industrial sales at Kansai Plascon before joining ChemSpec. Mr Waller has been in the coatings business for over 6 years and has acquired a wealth of experience through his previous career in the steel, telecoms and clothing industries. Mr Robert Simpson has 33 years’ experience in coatings industry and more specifically in the automotive refinish coatings market having worked for Plascon and BASF. He owned his own refinish distribution business which he restructured and subsequently sold to BASF Coatings. He then led the Glasurit automotive refinish business for BASF as Managing Director before joining ChemSpec in 2009 to head up the USA business venture. Mr Simpson now heads up the global automotive business for ChemSpec including the USA, Australia and Southern Africa and relocated back to South Africa earlier this year.
