Notification in terms of section 122 of the Companies Act, No 71 of 2008

In accordance with section 122(3) (b) of the Companies Act, No 71 of 2008 and section 3.83(b) of the
JSE Limited`s Listings Requirements, shareholders are hereby advised that the Company has
received formal notification of the following movement in securities of the Company:

Incubex Minerals Limited (“Incubex”) has notified Miranda that it has sold a beneficial interest of 5.9%
of the total issued shares of Miranda. Incubex’s total interest in the Company now amounts to 15.41%
of the total issued shares. Simultaneously, Cross Company Management (Pty) Ltd has notified
Miranda that it has acquired a beneficial interest of 5.9% of the total issued shares of Miranda.

Incubex has sold the shares to extinguish a liability that was owing to an associated company, Cross
Company Management (Pty) Ltd, and has the option of re-acquiring the shares at a later stage. The
off the market transaction took place at a price of approx. R0.13 per share.
