("Awethu" or "the Company")

TRADING STATEMENT

In terms of section 3.4 of the JSE Limited Listings
Requirements, companies are required to publish a trading
statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that
the financial results for the period to be reported on
will be more than 20% different from that of the previous
corresponding period.

The directors of Awethu anticipate that the basic loss
per share for the six months ended 31 December 2013 will
be between 0.5 to 0.55 cents per share compared to the
basic loss per share of 0.05 cents reported for the
previous corresponding period, and headline loss per
share is anticipated to be between 0.5 to 0.55 cents per
share compared to headline loss per share of 0.05 cents
reported for the previous corresponding period being the
six months ended 31 December 2012.

The above information has not been reviewed or reported
on by the Company`s auditors.

The Company’s interim results for the six months ended 31
December 2013 will be published on SENS on or about 31
March 2014.
