CLOSURE OF NEWRAND ETF STRUCTURE (“NewRand ETF”)

Investors are referred to the announcements released on the Stock Exchange News Service
(“SENS”) of the JSE Limited (“JSE”) on 23 December 2013 and 10 February 2014 wherein investors
were advised of the winding up of IssuerCo and the subsequent de-listing and redemption of the
securities.

As announced on SENS on 7 March 2014 certain investors exercised their right to redeem their
securities on or before the last day to trade, being Friday, 28 February 2014 and accordingly
1,147,949 NewRand ETF securities de-listed from the JSE.

The remaining 1,872,017 NewRand ETF securities held by Investors recorded in the register on the
record date, being Friday, 7 March 2014, will be redeemed and accordingly de-list from the JSE on
Monday, 31 March 2014.

A final capital redemption amount of 3 915.73652 cents per unit of NewRand ETF will be paid to
investors on 31 March 2014.

Following the redemption and de-listing of the NewRand ETF securities, the JSE listing of Trackhedge
will accordingly terminate with effect from 31 March 2014.
