TRADING STATEMENT
In compliance with paragraph 3.4 of the Listings
Requirements of the JSE Limited, a listed company is
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they
are satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty
exists, that the financial results for the next period to
be reported on are likely to vary by more than 20% from
the previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are advised that further to the Voluntary
Strategic Update published on 6 February 2014, where
mention was made of the challenging market conditions
affecting the steel industry as a whole, the company is
expecting that the results will nevertheless reflect an
increase of more than 20% in EPS and HEPS for the year to
March 2014 when compared to the 2013 financial year.
Market conditions continue to remain very challenging
based on poor conditions in the construction, mining and
manufacturing sectors.
The information in this Trading Statement has not been
reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors.
