DECLARED INTERIM DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON REMGRO LIMITED HOT ENHANCED DIVIDEND SECURITIES –
(“REMIHI”)


With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of Remgro Limited have declared an interim dividend
of 156 cents per ordinary share payable on Monday, 14 April 2014 to ordinary shareholders, recorded in the
books of the company at the close of business on Friday, 11 April 2014.


In terms of the new Dividend Tax effective 1 April 2012, the following additional information is disclosed:

1)   local dividend tax rate is 15%,
2)   STC credits utilized is 156 cents per ordinary share;
3)   as a result of the STC credits utilized, no withholding tax will be due and all shareholders will receive a
     dividend of 156 cents per ordinary share, regardless of whether they are exempt or not;
4)   the issued share capital of Remgro Limited is 481,106,370 ordinary shares;
5)   Remgro Limited tax reference number 9500/124/71/5; and
6)   Investec Bank Limited tax reference number is 9675/053/71/5.


Accordingly, the holders of REMIHI will receive a dividend of 156 cents on Monday, 14 April 2014 in terms of the
Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to
trade (“cum” the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend is Friday, 04 April 2014.

REMIHI Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading “ex” the dividend from the commencement of
business on Monday, 07 April 2014, and the record date will be Friday, 11 April 2014.
