APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRPERSON, CHANGE IN FUNCTION OF A DIRECTOR AND CHANGE OF
COMPANY SECRETARY
Shareholders are referred to the announcement dated 15 November 2013, and in compliance with
paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited (“JSE”), the board of directors of Datacentrix
(“the Board”) is pleased to notify its shareholders that Ms Nolitha Victoria Fakude has been appointed as an
independent non-executive director and Chairperson of the Board with effect from 1 March 2014. Ms
Fakude replaces Ms Dudu Nyamane, the out-going interim chairperson, who will remain on the Board as an
independent non-executive director.
Ms Fakude is a senior executive with more than 22 years’ corporate experience. She has worked in various
industries and sectors including Retail, Management Consulting, Financial Services, Mining and Oil & Gas.
She is highly regarded as a thought leader in business transformation processes, strategy and governance.
Ms Fakude has in the last 15 years served as a non-executive director on corporate boards and chairperson
on boards within the public sector.
Furthermore, in compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised
that Mr J Vaughn Parkin has been appointed as Datacentrix’ company secretary with effect from 1 March
2014, replacing iThemba Governance and Statutory Solutions Proprietary Limited.
Mr Parkin has fulfilled various financial and operational roles within the ICT industry over the last twenty
years and holds a BCompt (Hons) CTA degree. The Board is satisfied that Mr Parkin has the necessary
skills and experience to fulfil the company secretarial function and wishes him well in this role.
