NO CHANGE STATEMENT AND NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Shareholders are advised that the company’s integrated annual report, incorporating the audited annual
financial statements for the year ended 31 August 2013, was dispatched today, 28 February 2014, and
contains no changes from the reviewed provisional consolidated results which were released on SENS
on 29 October 2013.

The integrated annual report contains a notice of annual general meeting which annual general meeting
will be held at 11:00 on Wednesday, 2 April 2014 at Commerce Square, Building 2, 39 Rivonia Road,
Sandhurst.

The last day to trade in order to be eligible to participate in and vote at the annual general meeting 
is Thursday, 20 March 2014 and the record date for voting purposes is Friday, 28 March 2014.
