TRP121: NOTIFICATION OF AN ACQUISITION OF A BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SECURITIES

In compliance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act and Regulation 121(2)(b) of the
Companies Act Regulations, 2011, shareholders are advised that Nampak has received notification
from Lazard Asset Management (“Lazard”) of the acquisition by Lazard of Nampak shares, such that
Lazard’s total beneficial interest in Nampak is now 5.17% of Nampak’s issued shares.
