APPOINTMENT OF INTERIM CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER


Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on
9 December 2013 stating that Ms Nonkululeko Nyembezi-Heita had
announced her intention to step down as Chief Executive Officer
(“CEO”) and executive director with effect from Tuesday 18
February 2014.


The board is pleased to announce that Dr Hans Ludwig Rosenstock
has been appointed as acting CEO and executive director while the
Board embarks on a search for a permanent CEO. The appointment
will be effective from Wednesday 19 February 2014. The process
of appointing a new CEO is well underway.


Dr Rosenstock, currently the Chief Operating Officer (“COO”) of
ArcelorMittal South Africa, holds   a   Degree in Physical
Engineering (Dipl.-Ing)from the    Technische Universitaet
Clausthal, Germany and a Dr.-Ing from Rheinisch Westfaelische
Technische Hochschule Aachen, Germany.


Since 2003, Dr Rosenstock was successively COO of Mittal Steel
Ruhrort and Mittal Steel Hochfeld, COO of ArcelorMittal Galati,
COO   of   ArcelorMittal Rodange & Schifflange and later CEO   of
ArcelorMittal Duisburg. In 2011 he held the position of COO and
Vice Chairman of the Board at ArcelorMittal Ostrava before moving
to his current position as COO of ArcelorMittal South Africa in
2012. Dr    Rosenstock was also recently appointed as   Vice
President of ArcelorMittal Group.
