RESULTS OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) AND RETIREMENT OF A NON-
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF PPC

Results of AGM

Shareholders are advised that, at the AGM of PPC shareholders held
yesterday, Monday 27 January 2014, all ordinary and special
resolutions contained in the relevant notice of the AGM, were duly
passed by the requisite majority votes.

Retirement of a Non-executive Director

In terms of paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements,
shareholders are further advised that Mr Andre Jacobus Lamprecht, a
non-executive director of PPC, has not offered himself for re-
election as a member of the PPC Board, therefore retiring from the
PPC Board with effect from completion of the aforementioned AGM. The
Board would like to thank Mr Lamprecht for his invaluable
contribution, having served as a non-executive director of PPC for
sixteen years.
