RESIGNATION OF COMPANY SECRETARY

Shareholders are herewith advised, in terms of section 3.59(b) of the JSE Limited Listings
Requirements that, Mr James Geoffrey Pyle has resigned as Company Secretary to Famous
Brands, effective 31 July 2014.

Shareholders will be advised as soon as a new appointment has been made for the role of
Company Secretary.
