REVISED TRADING UPDATE
In terms of section 3.4 (b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the Board of ZCI previously
announced that the Group’s interim results for the six month period ending 30 September 2013, were
expecting a minimum loss per share of 11.54 US cents per share which is up from the loss per share of
5.24 US cents per share for the comparative period, and a minimum headline loss per share of 11.18
US cents, up from a headline loss of 5.29 US cents per share for the comparative period.
Shareholders are further updated that ZCI is expecting a loss per share of 55.90 US cents per share
compared to the loss per share of 5.24 US cents per share for the comparative period, and a headline
loss per share of 15.98 US cents per share, up from a headline loss of 5.24 US cents per share for the
comparative period, owing largely to an impairment charge which is expected to be recorded in the
current period. The financial information on which this trading update has been based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the Company’s auditors.
The Company’s interim results for the six month period ending 30 September 2013 will be released on
SENS on or about 31 January 2014.
