 Application for business rescue received and cautionary announcement


Shareholders are informed that Kose-Kose Investments Limited, which holds 30.59% of the
Company’s issued shares, has issued a notice of motion that it intends applying that StratCorp
be placed under supervision and that business rescue proceedings be commenced in respect
thereof in terms of section 131 of the Companies Act, 2008. It will also apply for the appointment
of interim business rescue practitioners pending ratification by the majority of creditors.

The notice of motion was served at the Company on 21 January 2014.

StratCorp has filed its intention to oppose the application. The urgent application will be heard in
the North Gauteng High Court on 28 January 2014.

Under the circumstances shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the
Company’s securities until a further announcement is made.
