CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS - APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR



In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, the board of directors of
Poynting (“the Board”) hereby notifies its shareholders that Mr Andries (Dries) Mellet has been appointed as
a non-executive director with effect from 20 December 2013.

Mr Mellet CA(SA) completed his articles with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Cape Town Financial Services
practice. Mr Mellet was Financial Director of mCubed Holdings Limited between October 2010 and February
2011 and Financial Director of Capevin Holdings Limited between April 2012 and November 2013. He has
been employed by the PSG Group for the last 3.5 years, acted as secretary to the PSG Group Exco and
currently forms part of the PSG Private Equity Investment team.
