The board of directors is still engaged in the strategic evaluation of the alternative options to unlock shareholder value and further reduce the Group’s senior debt, which review may result in actions that could have a material effect on the price of Sentula’s securities. In this regard, the Schoongezicht prospecting right disposal as announced on SENS on 24 June 2013 has become effective following the fulfilment of all the conditions precedent thereto and offers have been received for the Bankfontein mining right. Furthermore, negotiations for the disposal of Sentula’s stake in the Nkomati Anthracite Mine continue with interested parties.
