Update regarding the provisional liquidation of Brikor

Shareholders are referred to the various cautionary announcements released over the past year which
culminated in the provisional liquidation of Brikor, the last of which was published on 10 October 2013.
The matter was in the Kwa-Zulu Natal High Court on 22 November 2013 in order to arrange a date on the
Opposed Motion Roll for argument. By consent the matter was adjourned until 16 May 2014. The
business will continue to operate under the supervision of the liquidators.

The trading in the shares of the Company on the JSE Limited will remain suspended.
